I feel very fortunate to be an imagemaker during a time when so many tools are available to us for artistic expression!
One reason I like working with analog ("film") photography is the ability to slow down the image-making process. By developing my own images as part of the process, I feel more a part of it's creation. That said, I love the ability to alter and combine images digitally, and feel this is as just as much a part of the art proceess as the camera work is.
The images to the right are examples of my analog photographs, with additional digital processing. They are collages of sorts- some combining multiple images, others are single images with additional tones or textures added to them.
Please feel free to email me with any questions about the photographs you see here.
